Meeting Minutes
Conferenced Call for the Board of Delegates held Tuesday March 20, 2007.
Attending were: Deb McGuire, Dick Peterson, Cheri Clark, Mary Bowden, Steve Hugus, Darlene Labelle, Cecile Hetzel-Dunn, Val Stoffel. Missing were Carlton Huit, Cindy Krause, Marjorie Pope, Heather Swanson, Lonnie Arp. (12 Delegates)
Director Deb McGuire called a special meeting of the Board of Delegates via email.
Sponsorship for the Regional Ride for $250 was discussed. Cheri informed the group that there would be no Regional Ride this year because of the Sweepstakes allocation changes.
The Scholarship Fund was discussed after Deb recited the letter to her from the Wyoming Club. The initial presentation at Convention was referred to from our Newsletter stipulating that we had $4000 available. Cheri handed out an application at that meeting. After much discussion it was decided to have a Delegate vote on the application stipulating the requirements and amounts for each AHA event applied for. Deb will email the BOD with a request for a vote next week.
Show Commission reported that Karol Reed, our scorer, is not available but that Marion Enders from Canada is available. The printing of the Omnibus has been comped by Brookings along with their CVB $2000. Thanks Brookings!!! And Dick!!! The Awards
Reminder about Elections in November, and our vote on our new By Laws in June.
Cecile announced that USEF just passed Opportunity Classes that can be held during your approved shows. Check out the USEF website effective April 1, 2007.
Carlton Huit has officially retired and now resides at him home in Lusk, WY.
The Directory is in the hands of Heather and Nikki, would be nice to have them at our Regional Show.
Montana is still in discord with our Region and is working toward moving to Region 8.
